German Company Law
Known in Germany as Gesellschaftsrecht, the German Company Law is a legal organization specifically for German companies. The main form of company registration for German companies is a public company, better known as a Aktiengesellschaft (AG). Private German companies that have limited liability are referred to as a GmbH (Gesellschaft mit beschränkte Haftung). German companies that consist of a partnership ownership are known as KG companies (Kommanditgesellschaft).
