Fictitious Name
Fictitious Name is the name of a corporation other than the true name that is used to conduct business under. A Fictitious Name can be referred to as the ‘trade name’, ‘d/b/a name’ – which is the abbreviation for doing-business-as, or an ‘assumed name’.
